Town Facility Guide
NAGAKUTE Cultural Center

This facility is opened to the public as a center of creativity. The Center provides various information resources as well as opportunities for citizens to share and learn from each other. Consisting of town halls of different size and multipurpose rooms, it provides areas to enjoy various activities such as dance, music and art.
NAGAKUTE Cultural Center that was awarded the 41st Architecture Association Prize and the 8th Aichi Machinami Construction Prize.
NAGAKUTE Health Care Center
Medical exam, mother-child health services, health classes and health consultation services are available here. Equipped with heated floors, handrails and elevators, the inside areas are comfortable and easily accessible.
Kominkan/ Citizen Plaza
The 3rd floor of the west town office building is available as a conventional Kominkan. On 2nd floor, Citizens Plaza is also open to public and utilized for meeting of various activities.

NAGAKUTE Post Office

Kosenjo Park / Historical Museum
The battlefield park, called Kosenjo Park contains valuable relics and a miniaturized landscape of the battlefield. In its museum, many items on display are related to the Battle of Nagakute, and various other ethnological or archeological materials also on exhibit.

Iroganeyama Historical Park
Immersed in a historical atmosphere, the park consists of the historic stone where the general, Ieyasu Tokugawa had sat, an observatory and a teahouse.

NAGAKUTE Central Library

There are many books here as well as videotapes, CDs and cassettes available for checking out. Many people make use of the library for their lifelong learning. It also provides an AV corner for videos, DVDs, LDs and galleries for exhibits.
Children’ Adaptability Direction Service: “N-house Ai”
Providing the opportunity of consultation classes, the service assists school children with some problems of adapting themselves to school life and social life.
Irigaike Gymnasium / Town Baseball Ground / Sports-no-Mori
Irigaike gymnasium has an area, training gym and practice rooms for judo and ping- pong, etc. In Sport-no-mori, you can enjoy a baseball game, soccer, track and field events, etc. The town baseball ground is equipped with the lighting fixtures.
Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music / Museum of Horyuji Mural Paintings (Reproductions)
As a part of art education, the university spent 16 years reproducing the murals of the Kondo of Horyuji temple and is now open to public in the spring and the autumn.
Rural Environment Center
You can use the multipurpose hall and square, as well as study rooms, as areas to enjoy your free time.
Aichi-ken Agricultural Research Center / Agricultural Folk Museum
The museum exhibits about 1,600 valuable materials related to agriculture, helping you to understand the ancestral wisdom of farming.
